An exciting range of circus skill certificates for students to earn.

These unique awards are specially designed full colour plastic cards which confirm a students’ achievement in a particular skill area.

Suitcase Circus Skill Cards will be available for: Acrobatics, Juggling, Diabolo, Hoop, Plate, Poi, Sticks, Stilts & Unicycle.

A student earns a certificate by performing a list of activities outlined on each card.

The skills required represent the first real ‘breakthrough’ of learning for each activity, the moments of “Hey, look… I’m really doing it!”

Each 'business card' size certificate also includes a skill to be performed with someone else, a partner skill.

When a student is ready they can “go for their licence”. If they reach their goal & perform the required actions successfully they sign their name, along with the person who checked their attempt. “You did it, you got it, well done!”

Anybody who has already earned a certificate can check a new student for that skill. In this way, everyone in the class helps each other to earn certificates as they strive to improve in a range of skill areas.

The level of difficulty, for all of the skill cards, is selected such that an average student (Age 9+) will start earning awards after two or three focussed practice sessions.

The certificates are a resource for those researching the topic of circus. Each card features a graphic design relating to the history or culture of the skill & key words for students to look-up or discuss.
